Douglas Dauntless SDB-5 was the last development model of the Dauntless Dive Bomber. The airplane was first developed for the US Navy and was used by the Navy and Marines Aviation in the Pacific War against the Japanese during WWII. Herb Hall of Miniature Aircraft has done an excellent job designing this aircraft for the modeler who wishes to build a large scale aircraft for the contest or just having fun flying his models of a scale WWII. The drawing for building the model comes on 5 large sheets showing all templates and locations as well as construction notes and photos of construction on the drawings.

This Martin PBM-5 was designed by Herb Hall of Miniature Aircraft and can be made with foam or built-up stick construction. Needless to say when completed it makes for an awesome beautiful aircraft test. The contract for the 1st XPBM Mariner came out in 1937. PBM 's were used on many Atlantic war patrols for submarine patrols and were responsible for sinking many German U-boats, then they were sent to the Pacific for war patrols. This plan offers a number of different building options such as stick construction or foam and stick construction. The plans come on 5 separate construction sheets and have many photos for building. Hebr Hall crafted this rarely modeled Martin PBM-5 flying boat. It spans 112" and is powered by two Magnum 91 four-stroke engines. The model is fitted with a JR radio, features working flaps and has working cabin and navigation lights. Herb built it from foam, balsa and plywood. It is covered in printer's aluminum and features complete rivet detailing.
